First post of my trip! And also the first time with WiFi and consistent cell phone reception. My only conclusion is that I have no words for what I've experienced so far. Hopefully I'll word stuff better in the future along the road, instead I'll start you off with this!

So far I've learned:

- If you put up your tent underneath a tree, stuff WILL fall on top of it in the middle of the night.

- Bring double the amount of water you think you're going to need. And then bring an extra bottle.

- I will never NOT flinch when there is a buzzing bug around my ears.

- Roadrunners are adorably curious, javelinas are horribly stinky.

- Don't underestimate the amount of spiders and spiderwebs on your tent in the morning.

- Prada, Marfa isn't really near Marfa... or really that cool anyways. I don't get it.

- I'll never be able to know true silence, thanks tinnitus, but I'm pretty sure Big Bend is pretty darn close.

Sometimes pictures and words can't do justice, you really have to experience it for yourself.
